Accessibility Statement

Last reviewed: 29 September 2026

We want everyone to be able to use this website with ease. That includes people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, magnification or voice control. If something gets in your way, please let us know.

Standard we build to

We're building this website to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. A full evaluation hasn't been done yet. So we don't claim full conformance at this time.

We target the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2, Level AA. WCAG 2.2 became a W3C Recommendation in October 2023. It is the current version of the standard.

A newer version, WCAG 3.0, is still a draft. The W3C doesn't expect it to be finished for some years. We're keeping an eye on it. For now we build to WCAG 2.2, because it's the standard that can be tested today.

How we test

We check the site at two points.

  • On every build, automated tools check every page. They look for missing labels, ARIA roles, heading order and landmarks. They also check the HTML is valid.
  • Before a release, a person checks the site in a browser. They test colour contrast and the size of buttons and links. They also move through every control using only a keyboard.

Automated tools can't find every barrier. Passing them doesn't mean a site conforms to WCAG. Some checks can only be judged by a person. One example is whether help is offered in the same place on every page. We check those by hand.

Known limitations

Some parts of this site come from other providers. Examples are the booking system and video session tools. We don't control these, and they may not meet the same standard. If we find a barrier in one, we'll raise it with the provider. We'll also offer you another way to get the task done, such as calling us.

Tell us about a barrier

If something on this website doesn't work for you, we'd like to hear about it. You're welcome to email or call. If you can, tell us which page you were on and what happened. We'll reply as soon as we can.

If you're not happy with our response, you can contact the Australian Human Rights Commission. It handles complaints under the Disability Discrimination Act 1992 (Cth).

If you need help right now

If you don't feel safe right now, please get help straight away. We're not a crisis service and can't respond to urgent messages.
