Our services
Online psychology and counselling services across Australia
If things have been hard lately, you don't have to work out the next step alone. We offer four online psychology and counselling services, by video or phone, anywhere in Australia. Each one shows what happens, who it may suit and what it costs. Not sure which fits? Answer a few questions and we'll suggest where to start.
Psychology
Online psychology sessions with a registered psychologist
If worry, low mood or stress has been hanging around, you don't have to sort it out alone.
What happens
- Your first session is about what brought you here. Share as much or as little as you want.
- Your psychologist talks you through the options. You decide together where to start.
- You set the pace. You can book with or without a Mental Health Treatment Plan.
Who it may suit
It may suit you if worry, low mood, stress, trauma, grief or a big change has been weighing on you. You don't need a diagnosis to book.
If you meet Medicare's rules and have a Mental Health Treatment Plan from your usual GP, you may claim a $101.55 rebate. A $220 session could then cost you $118.45. You may claim up to 10 individual sessions a calendar year. Rebates as at 1 July 2026, for sessions of 50 minutes or more. See our fees and Medicare rebates for the details.
Counselling
Online counselling with a qualified counsellor
Running on empty, or carrying something you haven't said out loud? Counselling gives you time to talk it through.
What happens
- You talk through what's going on and what feels hardest right now.
- Your counsellor helps you work out a next step that feels manageable.
- If another service may suit you better, your counsellor will talk it through with you.
Who it may suit
It may suit you if stress or burnout, grief, a relationship or a big change is weighing on you. You don't need a referral or a GP plan.
Counselling sessions don't attract a Medicare rebate. You pay $150 a session. See our fees and Medicare rebates for the details.
ADHD Assessment
Adult ADHD assessment online by video or phone
If you've always wondered why some things feel harder for you, an assessment can help you understand.
What happens
- It starts with a conversation about what you've noticed and why you're asking now.
- We'll explain every step before we begin, including how many sessions are involved and what you'll receive.
- The assessment may or may not find that ADHD fits. Either way, your psychologist talks you through what they found.
- Our clinicians don't prescribe. Any decision about medicine sits with your GP or a psychiatrist.
Who it may suit
It may suit adults who have found focus, planning or keeping track hard for a long time and want to understand why. These experiences can have many causes.
Our adult ADHD assessment doesn't attract a Medicare rebate. The fee is $1,250 for the full assessment. See our fees and Medicare rebates for the details.
Couples and Family Sessions
Online relationship counselling for couples and families
The same argument on repeat, or a distance you can't quite name? You can talk it through together, with someone outside it.
What happens
- Everyone can join the same call, from one room or from different places.
- Sessions look at how you talk to each other and where things keep getting stuck.
- Some sessions may be with one person on their own, if that would help.
Who it may suit
It may suit couples or families who keep having the same argument, or who find something hard to talk about. You can come together or on your own.
Ask us before you book whether a Medicare rebate may apply to your sessions. You can call 1300 704 901. See our fees and Medicare rebates for the details.
How it works
How online sessions work
Every session is by video or phone. Join from home, from work or wherever you can talk freely. Getting started takes four steps.
-
Reach out
Book a time online, or call 1300 704 901. Not sure who to see? Answer a few questions and we'll suggest someone.
-
Tell us a little
Fill in a short form before your first session. Share as much or as little as you want. It helps your clinician prepare.
-
Talk by video or phone
Join from a quiet spot where you feel comfortable. Phone works too, if you'd rather not be on camera.
-
Take the next step together
You and your clinician talk about what might help and how often to meet. You make the final choice.
Everyone is different. What happens in sessions, how many you have and what helps will vary from person to person. Your clinician will talk with you about what to expect, and you'll decide together where to start.
Take the next step when you're ready
You don't need to have it all figured out to book. Book online in a few taps, or call us on 1300 704 901.
If you need help right now
If you don't feel safe right now, please get help straight away. We're not a crisis service and can't respond to urgent messages.
In immediate danger? Call 000 or go to your nearest emergency department.
